What inspires you the most?
Resilience. People, places, things, nature - anything that can experience extreme conditions and not only make it though, but can thrive and grow from it. Who is your hero and why? People who try, fail and still show up to meet life with open arms. To me, that is what true courage and bravery look like. What is your hometown? Where do you currently live? Hometown: Upper Sandusky, Ohio Current city: Delaware, Ohio What are your trainings/ certifications/ specialties? YTT 200 (2016), Reiki 2, Chakra Balancing What is your favorite thing to do? I really enjoy life, so I have a lot of favorite things I like to do! Traveling, listening to music, yoga, reading, connecting with friends and family, painting, relaxing with my dog, thrift store shopping and eating are some on the top of the list. What is your favorite yoga pose? Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward facing dog) What has yoga done for you? Yoga has impacted every facet of my life. It’s provided me tools to manage and cope with the inevitable ups and downs of life; it’s offered me knowledge to live a more balanced and fulfilled life; it’s given me the opportunity to create connections with like minded humans; it’s allowed me to feel supported and safe, just as I am. What is your charity of choice? GiGi’s (A regional care campus that provides homeless dogs with access to high-quality shelter, veterinary, behavior, and adoption services.)
