What inspires you the most?
I draw my inspiration from nature and the environment around me. I love to be around lots of color, texture, warmth, and energy. I love water and the flow it brings. My home is my sanctuary, nestled in lots of nature, beside a river. I would actually never leave my home because it brings me so much joy. Who is your hero & why? I have so many. I am lucky to have one of the biggest networks of amazing woman. They are strong, confident, and build each other up. They are leaders and doers. They are forces to be reckoned with. I have learned so much and continue to learn and grow from all of them. They all have contributed in some way in my development of the strong woman that I am today! Thank you “Sheroes”! What is your hometown? Where do you currently live? Hometown: Bellefontaine, Ohio Currently: Ostrander, Ohio What are your trainings/ certifications/ specialties? Acquired my Usui Reiki Master Certification from Om2Ohm and Sacred Garden. I am also RYT 200 certified. What is your favorite thing to do? Spend time with friends talking and laughing (real talking). What is your favorite yoga pose? Supta baddah konasana (Butterfly). Because it is vulnerability and strength in one pose. What has yoga done for you? Yoga has allowed for me to meet and know myself. Yoga is the one thing in my life I can’t bullshit. It has made me appreciate my body, clear my head and allow for small stuff not to get me so bogged down. I am so grateful for all the friendships I have made through the practice and all the places I have gotten to go because of yoga. Now I am a teacher. I hope to share all these gifts with others to help fill them up. What is your charity of choice? My charity of choice is S.O.A.P. (Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution). I got the chance to work with the organization a few years ago and really would like to help shine a light on an otherwise very dark world.
