Helpful Hints
When should I arrive? |
We will begin each class promptly according to the schedule. We ask that you arrive approximately 10 minutes before class begins so that you can sign-in, set up your mat and your props. We will lock the doors five minutes after class is scheduled so that we can fully focus on the class. If you are new to our studio, we ask that you come approximately 15 minutes early so we can enroll you in our studio and provide you with a tour.

What to wear? |
You should dress in comfortable clothing that allows you to stretch and move around. Most students prefer fitted pants as they find it easier to move their legs quickly and smoothly. We ask that students remove their shoes prior to entering the studio room out of respect for our space. Our students prefer to practice barefoot or with yoga grip socks to avoid slipping. We provide a bathroom for students to change in before and after classes.

What to bring? |
You are welcome to bring a mat if you have one. We have plenty of mats for you to use. We provide various props such as bolsters, blocks, straps, eye pillows and sand bags to accentuate your practice. We suggest that you bring a bottle of water with you as it is important to hydrate before, during, and after practice. We also sell water if you would like to purchase a beverage. Some of our students prefer to bring a towel.

What should I expect? |
Our studio provides an accommodating and welcoming space. We design our classes for all levels. Our sequences can be modified to soften the pose or to deepen the pose for a challenge. If you have an injury, illness or limitations that may impact your practice, please let us know so that we can accommodate and guide you. We begin our classes by bringing an awareness to the breath and integrating the mind and body to the practice. Our teachers will guide you through the practice, however it is important for you to feel what is right for your body and listen to your body. Practice to your comfort level to avoid pushing too hard and getting hurt. Occasionally, we provide a hands-on approach to guide our students to deepen their poses. Our assists are not meant to correct but to enhance the yoga experience. If you would prefer not to have a hands-on assist, please let our instructors know and we will respect your space. At times, we utilize props to support your body into
moments of restoration and relaxation. |

We ask that all electronic devices are turned off and stored in our prop room. We want to provide an environment that is free from distractions so that you may be able to concentrate on your body.
